CARM also requires all importers to obtain financial security (aka a ‘duty bond’) and post it with Customs. We recommend importers wait until e-bonds become available as the current process takes weeks. Once this new process is in place we will contact you!

Under CARM, importers who use multiple brokers are at risk of costly financial complications. As a result we are recommending clients use one broker.
