Enrolling for RPP in the CARM client portal

  1. Log in to the CARM client portal then navigate to ‘accounts and profiles’ > ‘program account profile’
  1. Click on the ‘Sub-Programs’ tab
  1. Select ‘Enrol in a subprogram’
  1. Select ‘Release Prior to Payment’
  1. Select ‘no’  to ‘are you requesting a modification to the security requirement calculation?’ then click ‘Next’*

*note: we do not recommend requesting a lower security requirement as the review process can be lengthy

  1. Click ‘submit security’*

*if a bond has already been setup for you it will appear on this page in the table. Contact your customs broker if you do not see one.

  1. Confirmation page. This means the importer is now enrolled in RPP and the broker can customs release the shipment electronically.
